So
the journey is about awakening. A turning and returning to sacred
landscapes (far ago, as NOW, yet to be) to ritually cleanse, to
shed
dry skins
of
outworn luster, the spiritually defunct; transcending time’s
trickery -
Being present; facing challenges with devotion and commitment;
vision quests to purify, sanctify, uplift Self and All in a labyrinth
of trappings, wrong turns, misperceptions, trickster karmic echoes
– This Way, no That! do-overs; and eighty-four
thousand tangled yarns to be unraveled in golden Spirit-threads.
It’s a rebirth to higher realms where realms simply aren’t
relative.

Self-propelled jump-start to loosen from the hum drum…breath…
by breath…
Creating…
anew. Hum. Drum.
The
traveling’s for new voices, summits of intersecting views,
islets of insights garnished here with moon-down sweet licorice
lips of milky-iced intoxicating Ouzo and the finest Nepalese black
resin smoke… Yum, yum, astral tones gently shifting within
me from wrapped-too-tight to lotus-petal opening. Inhaling wafts
of autumn sticky figs and fat brown local olives, amber honey
pastries sparkling sun and golden, tasty stews of roasted lamb
and ivory potted pork plumped with carroty root veggies, the bittersweetness
of fresh-ground sandy hot Greek coffee laced with sugar. Traversing
brilliant residues of ancient civilizations with renewed digestive
juices,
new
eyes of crystal sacred
sees to create new visions -
